MSC Seashore

MSC Seashore

The first of two enriched Seaside EVO Class ships. Building on the groundbreaking and pioneering design of the Seaside class of ship, aimed at bringing guests closer to the sea, MSC Seashore has been extended and enhanced with a variety of brand-new features, spaces and experiences for guests.

MSC Seashore will also be equipped with cutting-edge technology becoming the first cruise ship in the world to feature a new air sanitation system, ‘Safe Air’, which uses UV-C lamp technology to eliminate viruses and bacteria to guarantee clean and safe air for guests and crew.

MSC Seashore is one of the ships that sail to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC’s exclusive Bahamian destination.

Ship Reviews

They had a gluten-free section in the buffet and a manager took my gf order in the restaurants. I didn’t have any reactions to the food. I wish they had more selection though in the buffet. Poor Wi-Fi in certain areas of the ship so we had to message our friends through the MSC app. No walking track even though they said there was one. Poor pool towel service 2 Pools that were too small Smoking permitted on the deck (smoking section) as well as the casino area and we couldn’t go to the casino because it was so smoky. We will look for a smoke-free ship or hotel next time. It’s been years since we took a crew but I don’t remember smoking being allowed before. Isn’t it a fire hazzard, for the same reason they don’t have irons in the rooms? Also, there were not enough treadmills in the gym.

After sailing on the MSC Seashore twice for two different itineraries, I'm convinced that I'm being gaslit by some of these negative reviews. Some of these 1 star reviews just do not match the reality by any stretch of the imagination. Is the seashore perfect? No. Is the quality comparable to other mainstream cruise lines at a better price point? Yes. Sailing on the Seashore a second time saw some things that were better and some that were worse than my first sailing. Embarkation was okay but took longer than the last time I sailed on this ship. It took about an hour from dropping off our luggage to getting on the ship- compared to last time which took maybe 20 minutes. We did arrive later this time- so that may not be a fair comparison. Ship- gorgeous. I sailed with my parents who have never been on MSC and they were blown away by design aesthetic of the ship. They praised the design as modern and shiny. Another area on which the Seashore deserves compliments is how uncrowded it feels. Both times I have sailed on this ship it has been sold out. Both times we have had no issues finding a table in the buffet or chairs in the shade even on peak times on sea days. This ship does an incredible job of spreading people out. Our balcony cabin on deck 10 was very comfortable. Food- overall very good. As always there were some things I didn't like, but food is subjective. It was never a quality issue- just personal preference and taste. They have the best pizza at sea by a mile. We found the hatred MSC receives for its food totally unjustified. Was it perfect? No, but overall perfectly fine. Service- very good. We found the employees to be very friendly and helpful for the most part. Our dining room waiter was all business and not the warmest person, but that didn't really matter. The dining room staff did seem very busy and like they had a lot of tables. I found the dining room service to be better last time I sailed on the Seashore, but that was also because the waiter seemed to have less tables. One area that still needs improvement is service in the dining room for the brunch on sea days. The staff seemed pretty overwhelmed and like they were having to rush around. It took quite a long time to get our food. It didn't bother us, but the table next to us was growing impatient with the staff. Entertainment- really good apart from one exception. Having sailed on the seashore before, I had already seen the production shows, but I enjoyed all three of them just as much the second time. My parents were blown away by the quality of the shows. The one exception on the entertainment was the comedy show- HORRIBLE. He was not funny and didn't seem to know what to say next. One other area for improvement- MSC, please get rid of the smoking in the casino at least on the US based ships. The amount of people chain smoking in the casino was ridiculous. I would have played in the casino more if it hadn't been so smoky. Overall this was an amazing getaway on a relaxing itinerary onboard a beautiful ship. I'll definitely sail on Seashore again soon.

The ship was clean and the food improved 100% since 2023 which was my last cruise on the Sea Scape. I was disappointed that they didn't put our beds separate, but the cabin steward came back right away to correct. The shower is very small in a deluxe balcony cabin. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the ship and the staff was lovely. Here someone you need to know that they will NOT tell you. Their Wi-Fi will not work on SMS messages. You have to download or have WhatsApp that has messages over the internet. YOUR iPhone, android messaging WILL not work even if you purchase the Wi-Fi package once you are out to sea. The guest services lines were extremely long and understaffed. . Also, they charged you for room service. I got the chicken sandwich and i got sick the next morning. I think they warmed the mayonnaise on the sandwich .Over all my visit was great on the MSC Sea Shore. I loved my cruise
