All is OK. But no perfect Average food, no delicacies. Long wait to get into the restaurant. Only two shows a week. Not enough space around the pool. Small jacuzzis. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Delicious drinks at the bar. The bartenders worked very quickly. The cleaning in the cabins was not bad, but not perfect. Often, the cabins were only cleaned in the evening. I think many of these shortcomings are due to the fact that it was a New Year's cruise, and the ship was overcrowded. I'd also like to point out that the ship's design is very understated. Nothing luxurious. Minimalism throughout. This is our first cruise on Norway, but I still prefer Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Ships are increasingly offering fewer and fewer options included in the cruise price. Even though the New Year's cruise was quite expensive. Apart from water and the most basic drinks, everything has to be purchased with money.
This was 1st time cruise which is why I am trying to book a second cruise already. Now that I feel safe (PTSD) I want to go again and this time get off the ship at the ports. Crew was very attentive to my deficits. and I met a lot of people and the solo groups. I look forward to doing it again, but I do want to do a redo now that I know the ins and outs because I had no idea, but I was doing and fellow solo cruisers and crew were incredibly helpful, which was fantastic and I never retreated to my room. In fact I never got back to my room before 1 AM each night!! the solo group meet ups are awesome they are very helpful of saving sections at all the events and shows for the solo travelers. I loved our solo director.
