Overall a very good cruise. Room and steward was great. Food was hit and miss depending on venue it seems. - Symphony orders were mixed up and staff not focused/attentive. - Alegro was extremely slow and staff not attentive. - Concerto was great. Staff attentive and quick. -Buffet was pretty good Entertainment was pretty good. Shore excursion department was not good. - One of our excursions was changed (time)and significantly upset time in Kirkwall. Brought forward concern and staff did nothing to resolve. - Ships Excursion didn't get priority disembark in LeHavre and therefore left over an hour late which took away time in Paris. Non-excursion people given same opportunity to disembark as paid ship excursion people. Brought concern to staff and no resolution. Debarkation was very disorganized. - Staff totally missed our number and bus left late as people didn't get off in order...confusion and congestion in baggage area.

I sailed on the Majestic Princess for an 11‑day British Isles itinerary from Southampton and overall the experience was flawless from embarkation to disembarkation. Embarkation was smooth, the crew were friendly, and the ship ran like a well‑oiled machine. Highlights: - My cabin steward (Primo) deserves a shout‑out — warm, attentive, and even happy to learn new towel animals on request. Small touches like that make a big difference. - Food options were strong outside the main dining room: the International Cafe was decadent and delicious with impeccable service despite the constant flow of customers. Salty Dog Cafe and Alfredo’s Pizzeria were reliable for quick, tasty snacks, especially if you have kids in your party! - The casino is spacious with a solid variety of machines, and I appreciated that the smoking area is completely sealed off, so secondhand smoke doesn’t affect the rest of the ship. - My stateroom, while a bit dated (some wine stains on the carpet and a few scratches on furniture), was perfectly functional. The important things were excellent — North American power plugs, ample storage, good water pressure/temperature, and a TV lineup with great travel features, sitcoms, and live sports. The layout made good use of space, so I felt comfortable throughout the voyage. Constructive feedback: - The one drawback was the main dining room. Compared with other Princess ships I’ve sailed on (Star Princess and Discovery Princess), the menu, service timing, and entrees were below expectations. I found myself opting for the buffet more often than usual.

This was my first transatlantic cruise and my first time on the Majestic Princess. Embarkation was fairly painless. The biggest hiccup was they was Princess checked if you had the UK ETA before boarding. It was a busy day at Port Everglades and crowded. We got on board and were in our cabin by 12n. Our luggage arrived shortly after and we got a Bloody Mary to start our cruise. This trip had a lot of sea days. That was very appealing to me because i really need to disconnect. It's lovely to know that you can get up whenever because really, you have no where to be. They had a variety of activities, trivia, bingo, lectures, etc. A lot of things in Piazza. Because, we were at sea that was 6 days of shopping and gambling if you wished. Pickleball was very popular on this ship. The Hollywood Conservatory was the place to be if you wanted to play games or find a spot to read, nap or relax with an ocean view. That is were the indoor pool is located. We were blessed with great weather on the crossing. Mid 60s and sunny. Some mornings started out overcast but usually the sun was out by 12n. We a couple of rock & roll sea days approaching Portugal and sailing from France. I was disappointed in the lack of activities around the main pool especially with the pleasant weather. We did have MUTS but that could be a chilly experience especially for the late movie, even with a blanket & hot toddy. Our balcony cabin was comfortable and pleasant to use during our cruise. We enjoyed most meals in the MDR for dinner. The service was friendly but some nights it was slow. We had some hiccups in the beginning with our reservations but it was quickly resolved. Honestly, i wish Princess would go back to 3 per person dining room teams instead of 2. I really can't speak about the buffet to much because, we only went there for the ramen days. that was banging good) and the hard ice cream. (yummy). Our speciality choices were Alfredos and Ocean Terrace Sushi. The pizza at Alfredo's is delicious and really nice salads. They don't have a big sushi menu at Ocean Terrace but it is made to order and perfect for a light dinner. Loved O'malley's for a drink and/or the pub lunch/dinner. My only issue is the menu is to limited. Loved the live music every night. We did not take any Princess excursions. The Azores was a very easy disembarkation and you can walk to shops and landmarks in the port. Lisbon is another easy disembarkation and you are walking distance to Commerce Square and several Lisbon sites. Remember Lisbon is the city of seven hills and down is easier than up. Take the tram, tuk-tuk or tour. Le Harve, France is an enormous port. It takes 20 minutes to get out of the port are before you get to the town. You are 2.5 hours from Normandy D-Day sites. Honfleuer is a nice medieval town with plenty to do. We did not pay for the Thermal spa but did enjoy several spa treatments during our voyages. Majestic Princess is not my favorite ship and there are things about the layout I don't like. It was a pleasant relaxing trip on a lovely ship.
