The cruise directer is hardly visible. No announcement about the change of time or the white party. How many people read that stupid piece of paper in your room to learn about the time changes! Sometimes the little things matter alot! I went.to Qsine for a continental breakfast, only to find that i was one hour early. I then went to the Cafe al bacio and have a coffee while i waited. The quality of food at dinner is outstanding. I was going to book a meal at the steakhouse. But didnt want to miss a meal at the main dining room. The staff was super attentive. And ever repeated the spinach salad that loved so much the first day. I never get tired of the design of their ships. I must find out who designs these beautiful vessels!Still my favorite cruise line by far! My hat off to celebrity!
iMessage worked from ships wifi(without having wifi package) I was actually able to communicate with my son at home from the ship when at sea. (As long as you had the celebrity app running in the background) Awesome cruise. The food was always good. The shows were very good. Lots of entertainment. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful. The cabin was a little small but we made do with the space we had but we loved our balcony on the 9th floor in concierge section(right below ocean view cafe) it is very convenient to go get a morning coffee or evening snack after the show. This was our 3rd cruise with celebrity so we have a bit of experience on how to choose a room or planning our days in ports. You don’t need to be rich to go on a cruise, you just need to prioritize what you spend on.
Our first time on Celebrity, 5th cruise overall, and staying in inside room. The cabin was small, compared to other inside cabins we've been in, but was in good repair and while there was some movement that high on our first seaday, it was a convenient location. The ship has mostly modernized public spaces and didn't seem old at all. We traveled with our adult kids and one small (16 month) grandson. They were on deck 8 (balcony) and deck 2 (ocien view) and all liked their rooms (though the dec 8 one also had some movement on one sea day, and they were towards aft). Grandson was too young for kids club, which we knew ahead, but they were able to join toddler time in the kids space so he could play with some toys and stuff. Our Main Dining room team was excellent, both with the toddler and the gluten free needs at our table. We didn't do many late night activities but liked the Trivia with Ron Roxtar and the game shows. The nightly shows were pretty good. I think the cruise director having his own show was a bit odd, but he was talented. I would have preferred if he did a broadway-focused selection instead of tom jones, ratpack, elvis show. That was geared towards the older clientele, I guess. Though I'm 60, many people in their 70s and older on the ship. Lots from FL. We were from New England and felt a bit outnumbered. Adult kids were greatly outnumbered, but they arent exactly a party-crowd so they were fine except for some music selections. They liked the Jazz and we all thought the Jamaican band was good, as was the house band. We enjoyed the magic guy, who also did a hypnotist show. Singers and dancers were good. Comedian was okay and the soloist woman was fine, but music geared to older folks. We did not do any specialty dining but ate at the cafe for most breakfasts and lunches. We liked the healthy bar on serenity (for GF food options) and the cafe on 5 for dessert treats. GF cakes were not the greatest quality, but other baked goods were good. We had great weather but all the excursions booked through Celebrity were poor values and they didn't provide adequate info about what was needed. We assumed an all-inclusive beach club would have towels. All the Norwegian people there had towels but none of the Celebrity folks had them and they were charging $12 to rent. A great vacation.

The fun starts at Camp At Sea, our onboard entertainment centre and program designed exclusively for kids ages 3 to 12. Open every day from 9:00am - 10:00pm, Camp at Sea offers kids the opportunity to participate in a number of entertaining activities, including treasure hunts, arts and crafts, sports, and theme parties, all under the supervision of our experienced youth staff. For our teen cruisers, the Teen Club is the place to be. At the Teen Club, they can make new friends and participate in events like video game competitions, teen parties, and culinary classes. Activities are overseen by our team of teen counsellors and offered throughout the day, allowing teens to come and go as they please.
