Absolutely Stunning!! This was our first ever cruise. There were a lot of negative reviews about this ship that I read however I can categorically confirm that very little of them came to fruition. Now this was our first ever cruise so have nothing to compare it to. We come from NZ and were prepared to be a minority nationality which helps. Crew onboard were outstanding and could not be more helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. The only issue was that breakfast buffet was always VERY busy and would struggle to find a seat. But MDR dining room was wonderful for all our meals. Entertainment was excellent!!! Silk Road in particular was amazing! Our cabin was always clean, tidy and had plenty of storage and a nice little escape after a busy day in port. On embarkation day we had no hot water, but a quick call to guest services and in less than 20 minutes it was fixed!! My favorite spot was the Solarium! These Quantum class ships are beautiful and so easy to get around!! Would recommend this ship in a heartbeat!
The good: The entertainment was decent, activities like the north star was unique and is something different from what you usually experience on a cruise ship, and staff was friendly and welcoming. The bad: We went on sky class on this sailing, so we had high expectations for this cruise. Though our concierge did help us make good reservations, she kept calling our room for like a spa recommendation which was really annoying. Other than that, our stateroom attendant was super friendly and knew our names, while speaking in a super friendly tone. The ok: The cabin size was decent, it was a Sky Junior Suite, so it was also something very new to us. So it's basically a Junior Suite with extra perks. Our room was on deck 16, so it didn't have a roof in the balcony. It would be unlucky if it rains tho, but balcony size was also decent. Tips and recommendations: The biggest recommendation is to book from a good travel agent. The price we got was only $3.8k SGD for a sky class suite, which if you don't know it's a super good deal. There was once from the same travel agent we got a Junior Suite for only $1.9k SGD, which is the normal price for a balcony cabin that we got for a Junior Suite last year.
Redefining the cruising experience one room at a time. Our staterooms are an alluring escape from the non-stop action that our cruise ships are known for. From our spectacular views to our deluxe amenities, a stay with us is like nothing else at sea.

Without a doubt, one of the best things about going on holiday is the chance to indulge in lots of delicious food and drink –and discovering brand new favourites along the way. On Spectrum of the Seas℠, the culinary adventure starts as soon as you get onboard, with 18 different dining venues to choose from, including the hugely popular Jamie’s Italian – the perfect place for the whole family to explore new flavours.
Jamie Oliver himself remembers food being a huge part of his childhood holidays, with his parents always encouraging him to try new things. ‘It’s not about what you don’t like, it’s about what you could like!’ he says, which is why at his restaurant, there are plenty of fun ways to get kids to try new foods. Take a look at the fresh pasta being made in-house every day, or order some dishes to share so that everyone can try something different. Kids can even get involved in making their own food with the ‘Shake Me’ salad, designed especially for them to shake up just the way they like!
